Equal Time is making the most powerful AI-virtual meeting coach to improve team effectiveness, inclusion, and managerial skills. We sit at the nexus of people analytics, diversity and inclusion, and operations. 250+ teams are currently using our tool in Google Meet and Zoom meetings weekly at companies such as Salesforce, Udacity, Spotify, Flexport and Netflix. The Chief Diversity officer of Nike, Jarvis Sam, sits on our Advisory board, and we have a partnership with Harvard Business School researcher Nicole Abi Esber. We have raised $280k in pre-seed to date, and expect to raise a $3M seed round in early 2023. 


Open Roles

Part-Time QA Engineer

We are seeking an experienced QA engineer to join our team on a part-time basis. We need coverage for our Chrome Extension, web app, and Zoom app. You should be comfortable working independently. We welcome your input and opinions about the user experience and product. Strong written and oral communication is needed since we are a remote team :) We already write backend tests and frontend tests as part of our workflow in doing TDD (Test Driven Development). We need support in the near term on automated end-to-end tests, acceptance tests, and cross-device testing.


Responsibilities

  • ~5 hours per week (can be more, this is a starting point)

  • Write automated end-to-end tests

  • Acceptance tests

  • Cross-Device Testing

  • Collaborate on augmenting, extending, and updating the testing strategy and plan

  • Participate with the team on Slack, and in remote meetings, as needed

Part Time Content Marker / Creator 

We are seeking an experienced content marketer/creator to join our team on a part-time basis. You have experience creating highly sharable content (writing, images, video) that has gone viral.

Ideally, you've worked in diversity, equity and inclusion, or been a part of employee resource groups (ERGs), and are familiar with current DEI issues in the US. You display maturity and sensitivity in discussing issues like gender, sexuality, race, disability, ageism, and historically marginalized groups. You are comfortable taking a bold stand and standing for what is right. You also appreciate the need for professionalism and for creating a trustworthy brand.

You will be responsible for creating an "army" of followers who love our brand, what we stand for, and the Equal Time product(s).

You will have a lot of freedom to create engaging marketing content. You should be comfortable working independently. You will also collaborate closely with our team (currently 4 people). We welcome your input and opinions on the product and positioning of our startup. Let's do this!

Responsibilities

  • 2-5 hours per week (can be more, this is a starting point)

  • Write content for social media (Linkedin, Instagram)

  • Create short-form video content for TikTok and "live" channels

  • Conduct Content Marketing Strategy planning (along with CEO)

  • Participate with the team on Slack, and in remote meetings, as needed
